Quirky traditional place with a good location very close to the scenic river. the closest college, Christ Church, is only a 5-minute walk away.

This was my fine stay for more than one night. The staff was efficient and pleasant, the room was immaculate. The gardens were lovely here. The location was amazing and prime - a few steps away from restaurants and bars. Besides, the area was beautiful, next to Cellar.

parking was limited, but i had booked a space so did not really have a problem

Friendly, the River view, our room (Christopher Wren), great restaurant and good service.
Very creaky floorboards, room not very warm although better when Ben gave us a heater, the weather (not your fault!).

This is a hotel go-to for Oxford! the property is clean, has views over the river and easy to walk into town. - the superior queen room is nicely refurbished with a fantastic view, a very comfortable bed. - Bar is full of beer choices. - Its location is great and lovely, not too far from Gloucester Green Market.
